Women’s Ministries at St. Stephens exist
to help women CONNECT, GROW and SERVE within our church body and community. We offer a wide variety of opportunities
in a welcoming environment for women
of all ages and walks of life.
Apples of Gold
Apples of Gold is a nurturing program for young married women developed by Betty Huizenga based on Titus 2:3-5. Through the six-week Bible Study & Cooking Class participants will find that "The Word feeds our Soul..The Fellowship feeds our Hearts..and The Food feeds our Bodies. The program runs Wednesday mornings: mid-September through October. For more information email womentogether@ststephenschurch.net
Chancel Society
The
Chancel Society is integral to the preparation for and planning of worship
at St. Stephen's Church. Chancel is comprised of faithful members
who have accepted the responsibility for: setting the Lord’s Table
in the Sanctuary, Henning House and Grace Commons; caring for the vessels
and linens for the Lord’s Table; and preparing for special services
during Lent, Advent, and Special Events, when needed. The Chancel Team
is a quiet ministry where work is done to serve our Lord and Savior,
Jesus Christ, and to prepare for His presence at worship at Holy Communion.
The ministry members are trained and work on one of four teams which
are responsible for services during one week each month.

Woman on a Mission
Self-discovery tool and Bible study designed to help women discover their personal mission in light of God’s purposes. This 11 week course will be offered on Wednesday evenings in the fall and Wednesday afternoons in the winter.
Abundant life was Jesus’ idea and, according to the Scriptures, he offers it to all takers. But for too many Christ-followers, it remains an elusive dream. Woman on a Mission is a navigation tool to help you travel from where you are to the land of life worth living. It’s a place of deep satisfaction and joy where God’s purposes and your strengths converge in a partnership like none other. Here you will find challenges that move you beyond your comfort zone into territory that is both soul-satisfying and God-glorifying. The journey to become a woman on a mission begins February 2. Join us for the ride. For more information, contact Mary Lucas at 412-766-4909.
