Vision Statement
Our vision is to supplement the family in leading each child to new life in and full devotion to Jesus Christ.

At St. Stephen’s our children are a big part of our church family. We want our children to know they matter to God and they matter to us. We are here to help families introduce their children to God and grow up in him.

Every weekend during the 9 and 11:15am services, and during the 10:15 Adult Education hour we offer programs for children, nursery through fifth grade. During the Sat@Six service there will be childcare for children age nursery through first grade.

All vistors are welcome to explore and experience the exciting ministry opportunities we offer. For more information on age specific programs and classes click on the nursery, preschool or elementary links to the right.

Elementary Age - Kindergarten/5th Grade
Your child will start in the big service with you for worship music, then be dismissed for our Plugged In Program downstairs in Promiseland. We have a dynamic large group time with Bible stories, skits, games and competitions.

“Club Plugged In”
The first Sunday of every month we will have a special “Club” with snacks, a youth worship band and special guests sharing Bible truths. Don’t miss out, it should be a blast!

Sept.-May Plugged In Small Groups
Elementary children are encouraged to be a part of a small group. Dedicated leaders will go deeper into God’s word. This is where lasting relationships will be built between leaders and kids. They will stay in their small group for the whole school year.

Nursery - Newborns/Two Year Olds
Your child will be in gentle, loving hands while you attend services and participate in our Sunday education hour. We have a wonderful space for children to safely explore with lots of toys to enjoy. A 6 person Bye Bye Buggy also provides for fun walks around the church. We provide all Nursery parents with a family number that will show up on a box in service, if your child needs you. Register today!

Preschool -Two/Five Year Olds
During the Sunday service times your preschooler is invited to join us in either of our two preschool rooms. We offer both a 2-3 yr old and 4-5 yr old room. Each room has a teacher and helper that will come alongside of your child to teach them, grow them, and show them God’s ways through interactive play, Bible Stories, crafts, and joyful worship. For Sat@Six we offer one room where newborns to 5 yr olds are welcomed for a time of free play, bible story, and snack for children to enjoy. All registered preschoolers are assigned a family number that will show up in church if a parent is needed. Join us in the fun!

Education Hour - Two/Five Year Olds
Preschoolers are invited to join us during the middle hour as we reinforce bible truths learned during the service times. Children will travel to our Children’s Chapel, created just for them!
