Apples of Gold Seminars
Maxine Holmes
Apples of Gold is a ministry based on the principle found in Titus 2:3-5. We hope to use these principles to enhance our spiritual and personal lives, the lives of our family, and lives of those around us.  A second purpose of the program is the practical application of these principles through cooking skills, relational skills, homemaking skills, and ways of sharing hospitality with others. This six week, three hour class (offered in the Spring and the Fall) includes a cooking demo, a Bible Study, a luncheon and table talk.

Book Dialogue
Ruth White
Library Book Dialogue is a small group opportunity for women within an informal environment that encourages supportive fellowship and intellectual challenge through reading and dialogue. The selection of books and resulting dialogue encourages growth in our spiritual walk and in our understanding of others and the current issues that effect our daily lives. Join us on the fourth Friday of the month at 9:30 am in the Laura Robertson room. At 11:30 am all those who are able move on to the Christy House for a relaxed, enjoyable lunch.

Chancel Society
Email: Terri Cook
The Chancel Society is integral to the preparation for and planning
of worship at St. Stephen's Church. Chancel is comprised of faithful members who have accepted the responsibility for: setting the Lord’s Table in the Sanctuary, Henning House and Grace Commons; caring for the vessels and linens for the Lord’s Table;
and preparing for special services during Lent, Advent, and Special Events, when needed. The Chancel Team is a quiet ministry where work is done to serve our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and to prepare for His presence at worship at Holy Communion. The ministry members are trained and work on one of four teams which are responsible for services during one week each month.

Christy House Ministries
Bev Semich and Dottie Fink
Christy House is a St. Stephen's Friday tradition since 1976. The handsome Victorian home (circa 1862) on the corner of Frederick and Walnut Streets, houses a tearoom which opens from 11:30 to 1:30 for lunch every Friday except the Friday near Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Christy House also hosts two shops, Earthly Treasures and The Needle's Eye. Christy House Ministries serve St. Stephen's and the surrounding community. We donate all the profits to Women's and Children's Ministries here and around the world. Join us for lunch and shopping! (Christy House is closed for cleaning and repair during the months of July and August).

Women's Monday Bible Study
Connie Ruzich, Gloria Chan

St. Stephen's has always hosted a very successful and meaningful Women's Bible Study on Monday evenings. Historically, we have used Beth Moore and Anne Graham Lotz video series to springboard small group discussions. Our studies are offered in the Fall, Winter and Late Spring.
