On Sunday mornings, from 10:25 to 11:10 AM, Pastor Geoff Chapman and the clergy offer a course in Christian discipleship.
This course looks at Jesus’ own focus on the Kingdom of God, and of how he ‘mastered’ those who followed him – and still does so today. It focuses on the practical dynamics of spiritual life for followers of Jesus known to evangelical Anglicans for centuries; including habits (‘disciplines’) of life that regularly place us before God.
We look at grace and the responses it grows within us (we call them the five ‘Purposes’: worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministry and mission).
We also explore some of the great ‘masters’ of spiritual formation from various Christian traditions along the way.
Prerequisites for entry to the course include a hunger for a deeper spiritual life, and a readiness to trust Jesus with the life you have to live! Guests and seekers and starters are especially welcome!!
Come and join us!
